Dumbwaiter & Service Elevator
50 – 250 kg
Dumbwaiters are compact systems designed for the fast and hygienic transport of small loads — food, documents and service materials — between floors in restaurants, hotels and offices. Manufactured in a capacity range of 50–250 kg, these elevators do not carry people; by separating the service flow from foot traffic, they save time on kitchen-to-dining, archive-to-office or storage-to-service lines and protect the hygiene chain.
Our references reflect the different use scenarios of a dumbwaiter: at Elite World Hotel Taksim, we installed a dumbwaiter for room service delivery, integrated into the historic building's architecture. At Polisan Holding's production facility in Gebze, a 100 kg dumbwaiter handles the transfer of small parts and documents between production floors; at the Tadım Gıda headquarters, a 100 kg system manages the flow of documents and materials between departments. This variety — from hotels to factories, and from headquarters buildings to restaurants — shows that a dumbwaiter can be adapted to a business of any scale.
Manufacturing in Istanbul Istanbul since 1994, our company handles site survey, engineering, installation and commissioning from a single source. Thanks to its compact structure requiring only a small shaft cross-section, a dumbwaiter can also be fitted into existing buildings. With more than 2,000 maintenance contracts and a 24/7 technical support infrastructure, your system runs without interruption.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a dumbwaiter, and how does it differ from a service elevator?
A dumbwaiter is a compact elevator that carries small loads in the 50–250 kg range and does not carry people; it is used for food, documents and service materials. A service elevator is a larger-capacity system that staff can also ride. In our Elite World Hotel Taksim project the two were installed together: a separate service elevator for staff and a separate dumbwaiter for room service delivery.
In what capacities are dumbwaiters manufactured?
They are sized to need, between 50 and 250 kg. Our Polisan Holding production facility and Tadım Gıda headquarters projects use 100 kg dumbwaiter systems; the right capacity is determined during the site survey based on the type of load to be carried.
Can a dumbwaiter be added to an existing restaurant or hotel?
Yes. Because a dumbwaiter operates with a small shaft cross-section, it is one of the elevator types best suited to installation in existing buildings. In our Elite World Hotel Taksim project we integrated the system into the historic building's architecture; suitability for your building is confirmed with an on-site survey.
What determines the price of a dumbwaiter?
Capacity (the choice within the 50–250 kg range), the number of stops, the shaft situation (an existing void or a new steel structure) and door placement are the main factors that determine the price. A firm price is presented in a project-specific quote after a free site survey.
How do maintenance and technical support work?
We serve under more than 2,000 maintenance contracts. For dumbwaiters operating at a busy service pace, a periodic maintenance program is set up; our 24/7 technical support line is on call in case of breakdowns.
